ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The Bridge Museum is the world's first museum dedicated to bridges, both structural and conceptual. Through engaging exhibits, the museum's structural side will cover the architectural and engineering necessities around bridges. The museum's conceptual side focuses on ways to turn fear of the "other" into curiosity.
Offers a metaphor and a mechanism to help mend the U.S.'s social fabric, particularly given the polarized landscape.
Bridge Museum is engaging with Science and Technology Centers and Children's Museums — building a national (and soon global) consortium to create a roaming 4,000-5,000 sq ft exhibition. Our exhibition will be featured in cities where bridges play a prominent role in the skyline and where at-risk youth can learn about STEAM principles as well as crucial leadership skills like active listening, dialogue, and empathy.
